June 25 to 27, 2010: A Weekend with Colin Hume.
English country dancing and American contras and squares led by the super-talented Mr. Hume from England and great local musicians! Colin is well-known as a crisp, masterful caller and a talented choreographer.

• Friday, June 25, 6pm to 7:45pm: Potluck dinner in celebration of Dave Wilson's eightieth birthday.
• Friday, June 25, 8pm to 11pm: Contras and squares. Colin Hume calling with music by Debbie Jackson, Brad Battey, and Susie Lorand. Colin is great at calling American dances, and the music will be cookin'!
  Admission $12.
• Saturday, June 26, 2pm to 5pm: English dance for all. Led by Colin Hume with music by Martha Stokely, Debbie Jackson, Susie Lorand, and guest Susan Lazar. A variety of English dances; no experience required; wonderful music!
  Admission $12.
• Saturday, June 26, 8pm to 11pm: English and American Evening. Led by Colin Hume with music by Debbie Jackson, Brad Battey, and Susie Lorand (plus Steve Schneider, we hope). Get the best of both worlds with English country dancing and American contras and squares, Colin's crisp calling and great music!
  Admission $15.
• Sunday, June 27, 1:30pm to 4:30pm: Advanced English dance. For experienced English country dancers ready to enjoy very difficult dances. Led by Colin Hume with music by Martha Stokely, Debbie Jackson, and Susie Lorand. Colin is the master at leading brain-boggling dances!
  Admission $12.
• Sunday, June 27, 5pm (approximately) to 7pm (negotiable): Callers' workshop. Stay after the advanced dance and explore some specific calling skills in a supportive settting! The workshop will have some general discussion, practice calling, and a focus on timing, staying oriented, and working with music — all guided by expert caller Colin Hume. Open to everyone interested; we'll need dancers, too. Please let Fae know if you want to call.
  Admission $10 for callers. Dancing and discussion is free.

Cost: $45 for all four dances or $35 for any three. No preregistration—pay at the door.
