Red Barn English Dancing (previous seasons)

Christ The King Church (with assistance during the first two seasons from AACTMAD) presented a series of monthly English country dances. These events were family friendly and all dances were taught beforehand and prompted to live music provided by our highly skilled musicians. We affectionately call this the "Red Barn" series because we dance in a gymnasium housed in a big red barn in the Domino Farms complex in Northeast Ann Arbor. Click here for this season's schedule.

Red Barn English Ball - Feb 1, 2008

We literally and figuratively had a ball on February 1, 2008. Most everyone came dressed in their period attire. Many had created their own finery. The dancing was terrific and the buffet refreshments were simply outstanding. Here are some pictures from that exquisite evening.

some adjustments festive ambiance smiles all around the circle Gents, right-hand turn sensational dress cross-hand turn a finely attired group the visionaries a two-hand turn Brad setting up the buffet an overview lovely two close friends the smile says it all a final waltz
